My unboxing Video for the Audio Technica ATH M40x

Yes, another unboxing video for another electronic gadget.. but you can’t really get enough of these when you are trying to make a purchasing decision.

Ok, so here are my thoughts ..

You may find these a bit tight if you are not used to over the ear headsets, just know there is a ‘break in’ period and then they will feel ‘just right’. I have been using them for about a week (since the making of this video) and they feel better than the day I got them.

How I quit my Cable/Satellite dependence and declared freedom!

I used to pay $50+ a month for Cable/ Satellite. First to Verizon, then to Dish. I consider Dish to have better service than Verizon (Customer service and programming) but every 6 months or so I would have to call Dish support to have a tech fix my satellite due to natural causes (Rain, Wind, Storms etc) So when my satellite took another dive recently I decided to call it quits.

So I began to gather data on what it will take for me to simulate my current setup, which consists mostly of being able to record shows that I like, which are mostly from channels that broadcast over the air, and be able to get them in HD.

iPhone Apps that have help on my quest for data control

Applications that I have come accross that have really help me make some sence out of my unorganized data:

  1. FastContacts
  2. Memengo
  3. Evernote
  4. Mint

I will leave you to go and research these on your own and see how they can help you get organized. I will list others as I continue my search for Zen.
